hes a very smart guy, i love his lyrics, but i think he doesnt get the recognition he deserves because he doesnt make these club banger songs, his music is more low key and inconspicuous, its for ppl who appreciate the lyrics more than the package they come wrapped in

This song is his most creative. That is even more than “labels”, “publicity”, “fame”, and “queen’s gambit”. The most fun thing to do is read the lyrics, while listening. I did that, once. All I could ask myself is “how does he come up with this shit?” This is why he is my favorite rapper.

This is the shit, this is like labels off of liquid swords, Instead of record labels he naming automobiles, pure “GENIUS”

Perfectly synched with the beat, the lyrical content he throws out isn’t exactly simple either, not only is it complex it actually means something and tells a story. Many lyricists whether old or new are guilty of just stringing words together.

No wonder he’s called genius he may as well copyright the word and charge anyway who trys to use the word in reference to themself.

You just quoted one of my fav. lines by MK… So much out there is lacking substance.

This beat is fused to his sound. I think he rap this first then they added the beat, its the only way to flow with the beat….then again he is the Genius!

yeh man i understand completely, its a personal thing to i suppose,
one thing’s sure though gza is a fucking genius!

you really gotta sit down and concenatrate on what the gza is saying to listen to his music which isn’t always appropriate..

keep supporting the classic hip hop n one day it might come back.. haha

    keep it real cuz!

naw man i get what youre sayin. its just gza’s style. it works a lot of the time, but for me it’s just too flat to listen to all the time. its too monotonous. like he dosen’t even care. its cool in some songs though. peace.

mann.. you don’t know what you are talking about.

this ‘low tone’ blank voice he has is really hard to pull off. his flow is unbelivable..

no joke, the hairs on the back of my neck stood up the first time i heard this song because of his unique style.

    listen to this song

    life is a movie – gza/genius

listen to when the gza comes in after the first guy (the rza)

    enjoy brother! take it easy
